About

In 2022 I completed the MA in Narrative Environments at UAL/CSM as a filmmaker and producer with a new skillset in film and spatial storytelling.
Previously, my work with Lucian Evans at Leap Films covered branded content, commercials, campaign films for the public sector and creative documentary.
My focus now is creating work that has social value, based on an inclusive approach to film storytelling. I am exploring a playful and inclusive practice in the design of projects, with the visitor’s experience at the forefront of my thinking.
My current project, with the British Library, explores hidden narratives and storytellers: connecting with communities beyond the mainstream and celebrating unique voices, lives and experiences.
Inspiration comes from artists and practitioners: Theaster Gates, Mona Hatoum, Hew Locke, Anselm Kiefer, Noel McCauley and the TGAC team. I share their attention to research; their emphasis on visualisation, materials and testing ideas; and, finally, their absolute focus on the visitor’s physical and imaginative experience.
